Yeah, absolutely, 65th W needs a redesign and a bus badly
Yeah I can see where youre coming from. It may only be 2 lanes but those lanes are pretty wide leading to drivers going fast. Im split on if theres more benefit to extending the definition to streets that narrow than any harm from diluting the definition
Ideally that would broadly be called a stroad

Tesla's board chair confirmed that the automaker may give the Cybercab a steering wheel after all. It may need to to sell the purpose-built robotaxi in the kind of volumes it hopes to.

The best explanation I can come up with is that Platner is almost disqualifyinyly stupid

I believe the story about how they got it (tattoo shops in croatia be like that) but how tf do you not remove it in the succeeding FIFTEEN YEARS
I am not fond of the new "please hold on" announcement
All ive learned from this is Wilson has the same middle name as my mother so I like her more

Thank you Jonathan
To be charitable, it's possible that Jonathan Choe literally does not know about candidate disclosure forms. But most likely, he's lying his dumb ass off like he always does. (Also, how does ME paying someone else bias me TOWARD them?)

e.g. if you're a young dude immersed in certain social circles there is a decided sense that Trump is the cool candidate and cool guys support Trump, and only weird woke libs would vote for Harris or Democratic. especially if you're less attentive to politics this social dynamic is determinative
I was the only person to show up to push back on this -_-

Please keep in mind that if you cant make it to the council meeting, you can provide comment over zoom
I am speaking to the council today at 2PM in opposition to this, anyone who can show up and speak please do
Rob Saka wants to take money *directly* from transit service funding to pay for a new "Chief Transit Security and Safety Officer" at the City of Seattle.

That's despite the fact that King County is directly in charge of many of the things this new position would be trying to direct.
How how many seconds into his speech will he... elon musk at the RNC

ICYMI: Katie Wilson responds to Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell's latest attack. Harrell, whose net worth is over $15 million and whose résumé shows he hasn't had to apply for a job since 1990, accused Wilson of being rich because her parents have helped her pay for child care in unaffordable Seattle.

If you were thinking of calling in or going to city hall tomorrow morning to give public comment to the budget committee the first time these are discussed...no you won't, because yet again they are not taking public comment directly from the public at this kind of meeting.

So prepare your emails.
The full list of proposed SDOT budget amendments just dropped.

I wish this kind of thing were legal in Seattle
Oh god, Lynnwood station is, imo, the worst designed station in the system. The fact that the bus bays werent put into the station base or bottom level of the garage is psychotic. You could have so much more housing in the prime catchment area its crazy
Thank you so much! Getting STX service right is arguably just as important as Link
Waiting for the Sound Transit Board meeting to talk about improving the Sound Transit Express proposal
Well folks, we know what to do, right?

ICE Detains Leaves as They Turn Brown: tinyurl.com/37euaejk
These mistakes were not impossible but they were so unlikely, it should have been taken with a much larger grain of salt. A lot of people assume ST will make every mistake possible for reactionary reasons. It is important to check these before believing them
of countless engineers at ST and WSDOT not just before the conversion but also back when the bridge was built since it was built with future rail in mind. While not impossible, the idea that nobody would have considered lake levels is exceedingly unlikely
