Comment period ends Oct 20 and the comments so far OVERWHELMINGLY favor adding checkpoints for voter registration. please if you have a moment go in and comment that adding barriers to registration only contributes to voter suppression, and that noncitizens already can’t vote.

Absolutely!
I worked in Mental Health Access for a large CA county, and no one wanted to go to shelters: bed bugs, stealing, regimented hours, no privacy, etc.
It's important for people to have the dignity of even a small, secure place of their own.
Just like we all would want for ourselves.

They are pushing hard because they are desperate and weak.
What they want is to goad people to retaliate, to 'justify' their violent attempt to take control.
Instead, everyone is seeing what losers, liars and fascists they are.
