And then a bunch of the smartest and definitely interesting people said "well they can do whatever they want, implications for a society that values art tackling serious themes be damned"

Its interesting we acknowledge kids can't understand sex properly until 18, but we dont think about extreme violence in the same way. I have no policy positions to advocate for here, just an interesting observation.
Dont you like when sex and nudity is 16/18+ but open violence, deaths and the like are just 12+? What would the kids think :(
