This would definitely be a problem in Alberta under UCP rule.
Shrimply having a prawnderful #Crustmas time!

This came to me in a dream in like June.

Peppermint shrimp are born male but can switch to being hermaphrodites later in life.

They lay festive green eggs.

Danielle vows to DOUBLE oil-sands output, jobs & profits go offshore as most design, modularization go offshore. ALBERTANS are left a horrible legacy of tailings_ponds, cancer, polluted rivers....
Fossil fuel jobs in Canada are already down 18% — about 38,000 positions in a decade — even as production rose. At this pace, employment hits zero by 2050. The transition isn’t theoretical. It’s happening now, driven by technology and industry maturity. #Energy #Jobs #CanadaNews #Economy #Data

Waste billions in Dynalife, tylenot, endless biased committee reports, get sued by coal corps, fire the boards of Banff Centre, AthabascaU, AHS(3?), expensive trips to adore Republicans, endless incompetence.
Spends money like a drunken sailor yet seniors have to pay for vaccines, absolutely pathetic.

Extremist UCP strategies that Albertans DO NOT WANT, NOR SUPPORT
December 20, 2025 at 7:26 PM
A lot Worse, when you factor in the free infrastructure & benefits to oil&gas: roads, power grids, special subsidies, lower corp tax, massive unfunded cleanup costs, health costs, unpaid muni taxes, profits offshore, fewer jobs, etc etc. #abpremier, @mark-carney.bsky.social
Since this op-ed specifically cites the example of other countries let me remind you that Canadian liberals' decades-long attempt to reconcile with the oil and gas industry and the province of Alberta have yielded no benefits for climate whatsoever and I'm not aware of any economic benefits either.

"Red-tape reduction" means cut all of society's safety, environmental rules that took decades to create to safeguard citizens & climate.
The new federal–Alberta MOU could fast-track a major oil pipeline, weaken climate laws, & sideline Indigenous consent.

We break the MOU down and share a better path forward:
Canada-Alberta “MOU” why it’s alarming
Canada and Alberta signed a MOU that paves the way for legal approval of a new oil pipeline from Alberta’s oil sands to the West Coast.

Imagine (horrible, nasty thought) Alberta APP, income tax, Dani's own cops, immigration, etc being run by the same foolish self-centred idiots that destroyed AHS, AIMCO, Dynalife, tylenot, & many others? NOT A CHANCE. Albertans fight back.

Amazing entitlement copied from UCP Leader....
Fun fact...

Global Health Imports was the subject of a briefing note written by none other than Jitendra Prasad...

It recommended the purchase of $35 million in PPE, approved at the same time the AHS board approved the $90 million PPE buy from MHCare.

None of these separatist-type moves were in Danielle Smith's election strategy. She supports her 0.08 per cent noisy anti-everything rabble.

Abpremier, @mark-carney.bsky.social are obsessed with bright shiny massively subsidized non-profitable(except for shareholders) empty projects : CCS, Hydrogen, nuclear, LNG.
“These threats to our communities are highly concerning on their own; however, our concerns are intensified by the absence of any real regulatory review of these areas. We cannot be expected to live on top of this carbon storage project forever without a fair regulatory assessment.”
World's biggest carbon capture project could 'essentially drain Alberta', experts warn - Indigenous Watchdog

Congratulations Jason Copping!

Despite losing your seat in the last election, you're still able to reap the privileges of being a UCP member by being appointed to the BoG for University of Calgary with a huge salary. 💰
