I just finished your first Arnold Clover book. I really enjoyed it. Second one already on my Kindle, and third one (preordered) arriving tomorrow. Of course, it made me long to go back to Venice.

It's weird the way discounts show up on till receipts. They are often at the end before the total, though sometimes after each individual item. I think it happens particularly with 3 for 2 offers as each item isn't necessarily scanned together.

It's all to do with timings of shows & fitting in a diverse range of music. To play an entire symphony or concerto every time would completely swamp a show. A 'full score' or live show is different. I don't mind it as I like a bit of mixing & matching. I have CDs if I want the full piece.

I am reading The Bell Witches by Lindsey Kelk - a recommendation from these posts I think.
Also, while not a book, I am enjoying a rewatch of A Discovery of Witches on DVD. Witches abound right now 😉.
