Stuff like this should be taught repeatedly in art school - heck, in regular school. You own nothing as an artist if you make it while in the employ of a corporation, man. It's a real devil's deal. All those superheroes are more like products, not characters.

the fact that patreon employees will just straight up say, to your faces now, "I stalked your other accounts and found something in a *cartooning style* that made me personally uncomfortable so I'm taking your income away" should be way more alarming to people.
◇Turns out it was a combination of Patreon thinking Karen and Emily looked too much like minors, and not wanting to mix sex and hypno bc that's inherently noncon and against the rules. After a few days of scrambling we abandoned our Patreon and set up our SubscribeStar.◇
