Agents in Key Largo, Florida ripped this woman wearing medical scrubs out of her car as she screamed she is a US citizen. Agents cuffed her and put her in one of their cars.

She was eventually let go, per David Goodhue of the Miami Herald, who also took this footage:

When the Dells contribute $6.25B to the Trump baby bonus program, the payout occurs when the child is 18. In the meantime, the children in poverty who need it most won't have the opportunities to know what to do with the money - a good education and a healthy upbringing.
Can I let you in on a little secret?

Billionaire philanthropy isn’t charity.

It’s PR to distract you from low wages, labor exploitation, and a tax system that’s rigged for the rich.

This is the Republican majority in Congress. Completely disinterested in looking into anything Trump is doing. Whatever he decides to do is fine with them and they won’t investigate or question anything. bsky.app/profile/atru...

As a senior citizen covered by Medicare, I can tell you that it is riddled with problems like unnecessary tests, fraudulent doctors and middlemen and a lack of oversight. I have yet to see a detailed plan for Medicare for All that addresses these because not doing so will bankrupt this country.
Our system is broken. Medicare for All, now.

Zoran Mamdani proved that in elections, it isn't always money that talks but enthusiasm and organizing. Nelson Rockefeller couldn't buy the presidency and Michael Huntington couldn't buy the CA governorship.

Medicare for All will bankrupt this country if Medicare is not transformed beforehand. Unnecessary very expensive tests, outright fraud perpetuated by doctors and middlemen, unconscionably expensive drugs (insulin was given away by its inventor) will not be sustainable if everybody is eligible.

We need universal basic income. It will function as a cushion for people so that losing a job or not being able to find one doesn't mean zero income, and having basic income will also better enable finding or even creating a new job.

Also, AI is trained on all our work. We should all get our share.

It’s not enough to say you’re going to build 3 million new housing units when in some places where there’s a shortage, it takes a year to get a permit to make a change to an existing property. In San Francisco, it took 20 years to finally break ground on an empty parking lot downtown.
