#RejectTheTech and smash the oligarchy.
Six dysfunctional men are playing god, and we are letting them.

(And yes, I know this is 'tech' but how else will you pay attention?)

People ask me why I'm publishing on Amazon, who are indisputably evil. They say I should publish via an ethical company.

So here's why.

I've published 3 Sunday Times Bestsellers through ethical publishers, and made - drum roll - absolutely zero. Literally not one penny.

In fact ...

School taught us communism causes famine. It skipped the part where genocide was profitable.

And that, kids, is how propaganda works!

Paris went forward
Almost every single town and city in the UK went backwards and gave up hope to the almighty car lobby
“The transformation is astonishing. [Paris] has quietly—& quickly—become one of the most bike-friendly cities in the world. What started as a series of emergency “coronapistes” or pop-up bike lanes, built during the pandemic has evolved into a permanent bike network spanning hundreds of kilometres.”
New Study Shows How Paris Pedaled Its Way to a Cycling Revolution
Cycling through central Paris meant weaving between buses and scooters—a bold choice reserved for the fearless few.

The only thing that has changed since the Paris Agreement
Is that hundreds of fossil fuel lobbyists
get an all-expenses paid holiday
in a different COP country each year
ensuring none of its recommendations
are actually implemented
This is what happens when non-climate scientists write about the climate crisis without really understanding where we are or where we are headed

Cart tracks would be good. It would slow people down and stop them buying SUVs that don't fit and have no place on UK roads
If HS2 was a motorway, it would have been built by now! But because new rail projects are minutely analysed with this "value for the taxpayer" nonsense. If road building was held to the same level of scrutiny, a sizable amount of the road network would still be cart tracks.

As a cis woman I find Linehan and Rowling terrifying. I wouldn't want to be stuck anywhere with either of them. Their attitude to women is quite frightening and sets back women's rights by decades.
As a cis woman, I find Linehan terrifying. I would not like to be stuck in a lift with him. Ardal O’Hanlon on the other hand, I detect no red flags from him. He certainly doesn’t seem to spend him time abusing women on social media for the crime of disagreeing with him.
Graham Linehan has such little self-awareness he *really* doesn’t understand how totally unhinged he seems in his ‘woe is me’ batshit crazy ranting! 😬

He’s the ‘cautionary tale’ of what obsessive ‘gender critical’ transphobia leads to: no friends, no life, and spaghetti carbonara for one!

The real reason Lammy wants to end juries has absolutely nothing to do with speeding up the process.

It has everything to do with stopping protest and crushing dissent

You’re looking at Project 2025 (UK). This is why there’s been a takeover of Labour and an ousting of socialists
Do jurors have the right to apply their conscience to a case or could it be a criminal offence for them to do so?

A recent hearing before the RCJ puts the centuries-old principle of jury equity on the line.

I’ve written about it for @prospect_uk

THIS IS GOING TO BE MY LAST POST ON THIS ACCOUNT.

I am absolutely sick of the trolling and abuse that I get as a woman on social media. Bsky was different but now it is turning into another Twitter.

So this post is my farewell. I will miss you, well most of you, mainly cycling peeps.

The global elite, the 1%, want us to hate one another.

Divided we fall, they win

United we win, they fall.

It’s not rocket science. Don’t give in to them. Don’t let them divide us. It should be us vs them and we will win.

There is something seriously wrong with the world and in particular the men of the world. However we have got to this point where men are publicly beating women and children over race, over religion, or politics, in America, Israel, UK and anywhere else IT HAS TO STOP.

My best friend is in a Critical Cardiac Care ward. Over the last three days I have seen nurses treat him wonderfully. Those nurses have been Irish, Somalian, Nigerian, Slovakian and French. One of his cardiologists is Mexican.

Now, imagine the NHS under the new actions proposed by politicians
