It's kind of amazing how many people here make their living simply regurgitating & dissecting & analyzing straightforward news. Yes- 2 National Guard members were shot in D.C. & it's outrageous & horrible.

I don't know about commercials, but there has been a resurgence of smoking depicted in movies/shows/videos in the last few months so they're already promoting it. Almost everything I watch has a person smoking in it.
