It’s been a pretty good day. The DVLA medical team renewed my licence for 3 years, the kid had a glowing report at parents’ evening, and this awesome Tony Tuff record landed on my doormat. A result for Wales tonight and it’ll be an exceptional day.

I can now comfortably sit in a pub or bar and not feel the need for a tipple. Alcohol just doesn’t interest me anymore; it’s not on my radar. Gimme a Diet Coke and I’m happy enough. Everyone is welcome to get drunk around me and that’s just fine. 3,300 days sober and absolutely loving life.
