Thinking of dipping my toes into the waters of guitar pedals in 2026. I have a Vox solid state amp to experiment with. I guess the first pedal would be one that replicates the crunch you get on a tube amp when you dial in the sweet spot. I have little money. HELP! Here’s my current pedal board.

I surprisingly saw Jimmy Cliff perform a 3 song interlude at a Paul Simon concert at Hyde Park in 2012. It should’ve been the other way around! Such a beautiful soul with a wonderful voice. A reggae icon and so much more. RIP.

I’m off on my holidays to Bristol on Friday. Just the one night, on my own. Taking in a punk rock show before devouring a Full English breakfast on Saturday morning. It’s great that I’m mentally capable of doing things like this again.
