Hummer photobombed by a bee (or "The Bird & the Bee?"). Didn't notice the bee until I downloaded the image. The bee won this brief interaction, but the photo of it briefly landing on the hummer (an Allens) was of insufficient quality to post.

Anna's Hummingbird being attacked by a bee (on the hummer's left side of its tail). Both were uninjured in this scuffle. I didn't notice the bee until I downloaded the images. I guess each was defending access to the grape jelly feeder close by.

Nice way to end the weekend. This year haven't photographed a Townsends Warbler. I was testing a telephoto lens, and one landed close (too close) to me. He kindly let me scramble to adjust settings. Thought I was too close, but got a couple from a large burst. Next will try PS' "Select Image" tool.

Beautiful Townsends Warbler. They've been here spring-winter for many years, and they love grape jelly. This one landed close to where I had my telephoto set up, and the TW amazingly gave me some time to frantically change camera settings before he flew away. Thought I'd be too close, but I fired away and got a couple of winners (if you don't count the ugly-looking jelly feeder). I only use a few Photoshop features, but it looks like it will be easy to select the bird. Will send the revision later. The original image is significantly sharper than this jpeg. I posted another photo of a TW when I joined Bsky.
