In addition to our two 4-year-olds, we have four 6-year-olds, our newest cat, who is 1.5-years-old, and the grand champion, Bryan, who is 19 years and 7+ months old. 😺 We have quite the range of ages around here.

Joey moves around a lot, but he stopped long enough for me to take this adorable pic on his birthday last year (Oct. 19, 2024). 😻

You may be sensing a pattern with these 2 siblings - they both like to hang their arms off of their perches and they did so in unison here on this sunny late January 2025 day. 😻

Phoebe (a long-haired calico) was just chilling here, hanging her paws over the top spot in the dining room cat tree, looking adorable (Nov 2024). 😻

Joey (a short-haired white-and-black cat) loves to relax and stretch out his front legs and paws, like he’s doing here from the downstairs loveseat (Feb. 2025). 😻

Phoebe and Joey regularly snuggle together, no matter how small the seat, especially during the colder months. Here they’re cozied up enjoying the sunshine from the short cat tree in the 4-season room on a cold winter day (Jan. 2025). 😻

We also regularly find Joey and Phoebe snuggled up together on the bed during the cooler months, like they’re doing here, looking very sweet (March 2025). 😻

I wish we had a video of Fiona doing that, too. It was hilarious. 😹 We have a few who like to chew on and tear up paper bags. Cats are so crazy!

Ours have left their cardboard houses in tact, but they have a bit of wear. One of our first small ones from ~5 years ago had to be glued back together when our Fiona burst out of it Kool-Aid-man style when she had the zoomies. 😹 That one has ripped apart again, so it may be ready to recycle now.

Though it was raining here all day today, it was sunny and gorgeous about a year ago, on Phoebe and Joey’s 3rd birthday, and Phoebe (a long-haired calico) enjoyed that sun in this cat tree by the window (Oct. 19, 2024). 😻

In the cooler months, we regularly see kitties snuggling together. One of Phoebe’s favorite snuggle pals is her brother Joey (white-and-black short-haired cat) and she was very comfy here with him (and Theo, another white-and-black short-haired cat, nearby) in this pic on the bed (Jan. 2025). 😻

We often find Phoebe sitting like this, which we call “sitting like a person” (sitting on her butt with her tail between her legs and her front legs up), and pics of this never disappoint (Dec. 2024)! 😻😹

Phoebe loves the top level of the townhouse scratcher/cat house, and this pic of her on top and Fiona (a tortie-point ragdoll mix) on bottom is just too cute (July 2025)! 😻

Joey loves a cozy spot to snuggle and he was happy to get this cute unicorn bed as a gift for his (and Phoebe’s) 2nd birthday, and this pic was taken just a couple days after that date in Oct. 2023, though he still frequently sleeps in this bed (he did so yesterday for a long time). 😻🦄

When we were on vacation, our sitters from 4-Legged Kids took a bunch of pics of our cats for their twice daily update messages to us. Joey was in a lot of these pics because he was one of the more outgoing cats with the sitters this time - he even played with them, as he was doing here in this cute pic through the spindles of the bannister (June 2025). 😻

We have so many sweet pics like this of Joey and Bryan (a long-haired orange tabby) snuggling and snoozing together. This is a pic from June 2025, but it could just as easily have been from today. 😻
