After watching the new Fantastic Four film, I got the urge to reread The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl (since she defeated Galactus no prob), and I cannot stop laughing. Even though I’ve read this multiple times before. @ryannorth.ca and @ericafails.bsky.social are comedy geniuses.

i just did a workshop with kids about making comics. emphasized that ANYONE can make comics. you don't have to be a "good" artist. you find a story that matches your art style and you do it and it's awesome. and a kid who NEVER PARTICIPATES got out from under a desk and PARTICIPATED and had a blast.

Is there any spicy BL anime out there that *isn’t* disappointingly problematic when it comes to consent? 😐

Autism is not a disease.
Autism is not an epidemic.
Autism is a multifactorial genetic-based neurological condition.
And it’s not caused by vaccines or nebulous “environmental toxins.”

One of the most common arguments you hear from fans of generative ‘AI’ is that it’s not plagiarizing people’s work, it’s just learning like a human learns. So I’m going to break down why that’s just not true, and why it can never be true, with the existing systems. 1/

I’m currently reading When Women Were Dragons, by @kellybarnhill.bsky.social It’s beautiful and so important, but during the first half I kept having to take breaks because I was getting so angry. I think that’s part of the point.
