Why is it always that the only real sick day I've needed to take in months has two can't miss deadlines and a production outage? Murphy's Law is stupid.

No-strings-attached, zero-means-testing, no-questions-asked cash payouts have been proven, over and over again, to be the most effective form of charity/aid going.

It gets people in housing, and it saves the state money. We know this. It's fact, not theory.
An Oregon pilot program giving cash to homeless youths sees a staggering reduction in homelessness. The program gave participants $1,000 cash payments each month for two years, and at the end of the project's first phase, 91% of participants reported being in stable housing.

Think I'll head home soon after this last meeting. iPhone told me to "Clean camera lens before taking picture" except... it is clean, just snowy!

Having fun on the job reporting a bug... "It is bigger than can fit in a int4 or int8 database column. I'm guessing a transcription mistake as 119,912,041,208,212,624,056 pages is larger than the Library of Alexandria, The Vatican Archives, and the Library of Congress COMBINED"

I'm really glad I gave Zellij another try. The latest version has a feature to "auto-block" their interface so you don't end up conflicting a ton with apps like NeoVim. Pretty sure this is going to become a regular part of my tooling over the next few days.
