extra time on tests is such a funny example to be hollering about, to me. before chatgpt bluebook exams were all but defunct because the "timed" and memorization part of assessment were considered less important and more punitive than other types of learning outcome measurement.

setting aside the actual problem, i've seen a surprising number of people claim there's /no way/ a college junior could write that badly without it being some kind of intentional slight.
