Can’t quite believe the Chancellor is seriously considering slashing support for home energy efficiency as a way to cut fuel bills 👀. Locking people into cold & leaky homes which will cost them more to heat & decimating the insulation industry at same time. Total madness 👇

Absolute bonkers...
This govt trapped itself into a spiral of complete idiocy
Also, solidarity with this woman for having to face arrest for simply disagreeing with govt policy

Her card was very specifically dissenting against the government's actions.
It's a very very dark place that this road takes us to if dissenting government decisions is enough to get you arrested.

There is no such thing as neutrality when it comes to documentary photography –it’s a myth. You always take sides, either consciously or subconsciously, and acknowledging that is essential if your work is to maintain any element of authenticity. There’s nothing worse than fake neutrality.

Once again, if you are pointing to a mob and arguing that their violence is a justification for doing what you want, it’s your mob and your violence.

Whatever righteous anger the Israeli gov't may have felt almost two years ago, whatever justification, whatever provocation, whatever sophistry - it has fallen away now. What is done is nakedly genocidal and cannot be borne.
I am sickened by it and sickened by how "normal" it's presented as. 2/2

Police in Canterbury today informed a protestor that the phrase "Israel is committing genocide in Gaza" could be considered a declaration of support for Palestine Action and therefore a terrorism offence.

1984 as policy, not fiction. And this under a Labour government? Unforgivable.
There aren't enough prison spaces in the world to house everyone if this broad an approach to policing is adopted more widely.

So #GregWallace blames
- his autism for his toxic behaviour
- the #BBC for putting him in 'an unsafe environment'
The neurodiverse people I count as friends would never dream of behaving like him, or blame other people for their behaviour - and know how to say sorry
Yet more entitled 'talent' 🤢

Dear America friends, this is what Scotland did when our equivalent to ICE tried to take away our friends and neighbours
We freed them and then ran the uniformed goon squad out of town
Do not back down. You’ll win if you stand firm
