As a military officer I am going to keep saying this---please stop framing this as "war crimes". There is no war here. We are not at war with a handful of drug runners off the coast of Venezuela. It's a extrajudicial killing. Calling it a "war crime" gives it legitimacy it does not have.

The USA is an embarrassment to its partners. They won’t share intel because in these countries the rule of law operates and leaders can and will be held to account in courts of law if they break conventions their governments have signed.
