Sometimes I redo textures from scratch, sometimes I trace and mask the original like this.
The res bump is small since its already large but a little shading goes a long way

Totally ludicrous that steam is happy to allow its monopolistic store to be flooded with waves of tasteless, tacky bullshit, including borderline scams, and yet will bring itself to intervene when a game's artistic sensibilities don't align with their incredibly vague, nondescript values

This has taken some years working solo, but I have a site system working for my custom props (not launched yet). When you download an asset, you'll see every custom material I made that went into it. It's been a labor of love. Here it is shown with a house model I just finished!
