The one small mercy here is that its fairy/flying typing does mean it gets new weaknesses in Ice, Electric and Steel.

That was a necessary drawback here because I'm calling it now, this thing is going to be a MONSTER the second it escapes to a mainline game.

Now in the case of its mega, they have indeed improved its already excellent bulk.

But they also gave it a whopping 40 points in special attack! So Clefable can do damage now! That is, a terrifying sentence to utter!

Oh it gets flying type now! It's got a ground immunity in its mega! *CONCERN*

Mega Clefable both excites and SCARES me because it is already really, REEEEEEEAAALLY good!

Like, it is one of the better Fairy types, it has two fantastic abilities in Unaware and Magic Guard that make it very hard to chip away at

and it's got a GREAT movepool.. aaand now it's stronger!

Mega Meganium has brought light into the darkness and is hella gay (also holy fuck they gave it fairy typing! yeeeees!)

Chandelure, Scolipede, and Froslass looks amazing!

like I.. kiiinda get the idea. Starmie is already very solid, so turn it into a mixed attacker and it doesn't have to compete with other special attackers for a slot... I guess?

One problem: Water and Psychic dont have the best physical attack options. like their okaaay but.. ehhh.

And Starmie, despite years of power creep is still very good! It just needs some more speed and special attack and it's golden!

...they uh, gave 75 of it's 100 point boost... to attack.

Strong duality of emotions RN because on one hand, it is *INCREDIBLY* funny, it is the goofiest thing.

On the other hand: *sobs* noooo! That's what they did with iiit TwT ???

I LOVE Starmie, it's elegant, simple, yet enigmatic and... that looks nothing like I hoped it would look like...!
