Schedule! I'll have info about the 2025 Bloom Baseball League World Series up SOON. Mark your calendar right now: Saturday the 25th, starting at noon EDT!

Only two streams this week because I'm still very busy, but expect more Saturn and some hot new Doom!

Thanks for hanging out with me as I showed some Saturn games I bought over the weekend, and then Legend of Oasis and Darkseed! I'll get to Dragon Force on Thursday around 9pm EDT, I promise! Saturn is eternal!

You must play Sega Saturn! What, you thought because September was over that it wasn't still time to play Sega Saturn? Wrong! Live now!

Legend of Oasis! Darkseed! DragonForce! Wow! All of that, tonight at 6pm EDT, on what might be the last day of Sega Saturn September (yes I know we're halfway into October). Don't miss tonight's BLOOM CENTER CX!

I actually liked the SNES one, maybe I need to pick this up too

Topless 40 year old stripped down, forced to work it (real, not clickbait)

No Deathstalker (2025) screenings near me that don't require several hours of travel...bogus

I didn't even know there was an official English release! I picked up the Saturn version today from a local shop for a few bucks. I'm looking for a copy on PC-FX as well so I can compare them directly.

Dick Miller sighting! I repeat, Dick Miller sighting!

Deathstalker in Chopping Mall, what WILL he do?

Sorry I've been so quiet this past week, I've been very busy! This coming week will also be light, potentially only streams on Monday and Wednesday (retro and Doom, respectively). I'll put out a schedule later tonight. Thank you for waiting for me!

Taking a brief break in my Evil Dead watching for a certified classic, Lamberto Bava's DEMONS. Insanely cool film, yucky special effects, and more splatter than you can shake a sword at. This is the good stuff

Wilford Brimley being 49 when he filmed Cocoon comes to mind

It's been some years since I've seen Army of Darkness, but I recall feeling let down compared with Evil Dead 2. Granted it's still excellent, but it's so hard to match 2's brilliance. I'm looking forward to watching it again, maybe I'll get a chance on Sunday night

It kills me that I won't have the time to watch Army of Darkness until like, Sunday at the earliest. Evil Dead 2 is still amazing. I don't think I'll ever get tired of watching it

Almost down to freezing outside, window wide open, big comfy blanket on, still watching Evil Dead 2. This is nice

I know it was hell in the Henrietta suit, but Ted Raimi looks like he's having so much fun

I know you mean to be spoiled by I thought "Is Dot perishable or non-perishable" and made myself laugh a little

Bruce Campbell is easily one of the best physical comedy talents this side of Buster Keaton

The stop motion scene of Linda's headless corpse dancing has stuck with me ever since I first saw it as a teen. Sad and haunting and beautiful, with just a little comedic edge
profbloom.bsky.social
Watching Evil Dead 2 now, and it's amazing how it's so much more polished than the first film, but maintains a manic, independent energy from the very start. Sam Raimi is right up there with Peter Jackson for the best to ever do it with splatstick horror comedy

Woke up thinking about how good The Evil Dead is, I think I'm left with no choice but to watch The Evil Dead II tonight. The thought of this will keep me going through the day, because I won't be home until like 15 hours from now

The stop motion in Evil Dead is beautiful, just absolutely stunning stuff. Tom Sullivan worked magic in that movie
