Idosra now fully supports user mods. The demos for Steam Next Fest and Oak City Indie Games 2025 are implemented as mods. Players will be able to add their own levels, dialogs, maps, or replace the default ones.

Celebrity gossip is as old as entertainment. Consider a Youtuber with 1M+ views. They have an audience on par with popular TV shows, and with that level of fame comes the usual drawbacks. I never got the appeal, but I'm not surprised it's a problem. Some people just know how to stir up drama.

Here's an #indiegamedev tip! I wanted to generate business cards with Steam keys for distribution to press at Oak City Indie Games 2025. Each card needs its own unique back with key!

I was able to automate this process using ImageMagick and some Bash shell tricks.

I have my root partition on an NVMe SSD and personal data distributed among SATA SSDs mounted in a hot swap tray cage. I'm happy with this system. I've had more longevity issues with NVMe drives.

Spent most of my development time today tracking down a bug in the level rendering code that draws grass blades in front of the characters' feet. Grass no longer draws over the menu buttons!

I had some time left to draw some 256-color illustrations. Here is one!
