"Whyyyy aren't people coming on holiday to the US anymore???"
Jeez. All tourists - including those from Britain - will have to undergo a social media screening before being allowed entry into the US under new plans being considered by the country's border force

US plans to start checking all tourists' social media
The potential social media mandate being proposed by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) would apply to anyone visiting, whether they require a visa or not.

(i'm not watching until it's on netflix but i have occasional photosensitive migraines, so it's useful knowledge
oh but also, anyone photosensitive planning to watch WAKE UP DEAD MAN should know that there’s a very intense strobing light scene that happens shortly after the storm scene starts. it was extremely painful for me in the theater

Thank you all, the update than we can barely believe we get to make.

To everyone who supported us through this last month, we couldn’t have even come close to this outcome without you all.

Have a peaceful festive period, we’ll see you in the bookshop soon 🧡

On the fifth day of Christmas my true love gave to me: FIVE GOLD RINGS, four calling birds, three French hens, two turtle doves, and a partridge in a pear tree. Someone check my litter tray, I think I ate some rings by mistake...

Once a symbol of unity and hope across Europe, the Eurovision Song Contest has been turned into a pink-washing front for war criminals in Israel.

After today's decision, there must be a global boycott of Eurovision.

If you're looking for an easy way to do a little good as we head into the festive period, my local council has set up a wishlist to enable people to buy young people in a care situation a Christmas present, so their Santas can be at least partially as generous as their school friends' Santas.
Local people asked to support care-experienced Christmas gift drive
A wishlist of Christmas gifts organised by care-experienced young people in the Promise Champs group aims to help more of their peers enjoy Christmas.
