Potentially - arguably there will be acts of naughtiness that it would be proportionate to keep on record for longer than 12 months but I would be looking for an ICO decision on that.

Both are life-changing magic (the heat trick also works for me with excema itching that is distracting to insensibility - I must follow up with emollient, but the "ouch burny" sensation overrides the "demonic itch" sensation for a 10-15 minutes afterwards which can be enough to break itch/scratch)
