Excellent point! The "Benefits Scroungers" are the businesses paying their workers a pittance and having their wage bill subsidized by Universal Credit.
Here’s just one of many reasons why the success of Your Party, the continuing rise of The Greens, and the re-emergence of the SNP and Plaid Cymru are so important.

I bought an EV precisely because I live in a rural area with a bus every 2 hours and none on Sundays. It cost a lot more to buy than an equivalent petrol car, zero rated road tax has disappeared, grants for home chargers have gone and now a mileage tax?? Win for the petrolheads at westminster.
So, if I get this right, the UK Labour Gov's EV policy is to penalise people who need to drive longer distances in their electric cars. 3 miles in a city, fine. 25 rural miles to go to the nearest supermarket, hammer them hard. Do these people never think things through properly

It's already killed the E-Vans before they even bring this to them.
I drive an average of 1k miles per week in my work van.
52k per year (average).
£1560 per year in road tax if my van was electric.
13 vans in the fleet.
£20,280 per year in road tax.
