🟥 If Scotland were an independent country, we would have our own Treasury. We could make our own decisions, instead of waiting for an afterthought from a neighbouring country.

Absolutely John. Their arrogance is off the scale. We are a country. This is not a union, we are a colony.

"That Boris Johnson had worryingly poor personal character credentials for high office indeed might not surprise many... but why was he elected to such an office which demands robust responsibility, and why is the man not been held for accountable for gross misconduct when in office?"

Not being surprised – inaction is our enemies’ lifeline
A sense of outrage, déjà vu and exasperation at the state of the present – the comment “I’m not surprised” is not relevant, the question should be, what to do?

When Labour promised *no tax rises*, they didn’t mean no tax rises for *you*, silly! When Labour promised workers protection *on day one* they really meant *day 182*! Even with a massive majority, the Labour Govt is so weak & no one knows what they actually stand for.
Page 45 of Labours manifesto last year said that they would give workers protection from unfair dismissal on day one of starting a job. They've now changed that to 6 months.

Bridget Phillipson is asked if that's a broken promise. Apparently not.

Phillipson: "Judge us on what we've done so far.. whether thats lifting half a million children out of poverty"

No you havn't

You could have done if you'd scrapped the two child cap as soon as you were elected. But instead you chose to keep it & keep those kids in poverty

Hard to believe, but Labour are even bigger liars than Boris Johnson. There must be consequences in law for Labour politicians like Sarwar, Reeves & Steve Reed who continually lie & deliberately misinform the public.

Even President Trump made time to see the FM of Scotland, but not the utterly odious Labour govt of Starmer, Reeves & McFadden - go figure that 🤔
Notice..While the President & Prime Minister of Ireland had time to meet FM John Swinney, the Labour UKGovt’s Starmer, Reeves had no time to meet him, & McFadden, a Scot, didn’t even bother to reply to requests to meet Social Justice Secretary ShirleyAnn Somerville.
