Alyss' reputation as Hero of Ferelden depends on who you ask. She earns a lot of respect in Ferelden even among nobility after the Landsmeet and ending the blight. Even more so during her stint in Amaranthine, but in Orlais and the Anderfels... they think she's a nightmare, not without reason. 👇

I think the only thing Alyss and Leliana would change about each other are scars. And more in a "I wish this never happened to you" way. Alyss is self-conscious about the claw marks on her face for quite some time and pretty much stops wearing her hair up to hide her torn ear.
