I sent an email to the head teacher of the adult high school I attend to propose the creation of a system for more advance students to tutor lower students, and I volunteered myself despite the fact that I'm a compete social invalid.

Most people in my building when they see me on the elevator ask "Going out walking?" or "Just come back from a walk?", because in a gossip heavy building the only two things people know about me is some know I'm in school and EVERYBODY knows that I'm doing miles around the neighborhood everyday

I cut it closer than I would have liked with there being a lot of material we didn't cover at all, but I barely passed my biology SOL with a 459 out of 600, 400 was passing. So glad I don't have to do that sucker again.

A review project I've though about to get my blog back up and running or launching one on a different platform that is less Googley is as an asexual reviewing some of the key films from the Porn Chic era from the 70s through when videotape took over the industry. Deep Throat, Alice in Wonderland etc

In trying to get over my nerves over my SOL (standardized high school test in VA) this morning I'm trying to remind myself that in all my years in school despite never studying I passed every single SOL I took, and that they are designed so like a C-D student could still conceivably pass.

I was so stressed out about the SOL (standardized test) I have to take tomorrow and my teacher's complete meltdown that left ME shaking that I couldn't control my impulse to buy myself a bottle of sparkling cider. I want the comfort of bubbles.

One of my teachers today lost her damn mind, just screaming f-bombs at her students full volume and getting into a full on shouting match with one of her students who was trying to defend her unfairly targeted sister and bring a little logic back to the situation. Completely unacceptable in all ways

Early Goo Goo Dolls gets slept on. It's so obvious on those like first 4 albums how desperately bad Johnny wanted to be a hot version of Paul Westerberg, the Replacements influence is really firm in those early years so I kind of dig it.

I always call Dahmer (2002) "The first and last great performance by Jeremy Renner", he's actually quite good in it in a way that makes me think he's a vacant, insidious person too compared to how terrible most of his performances are.

I think the objectively worst show I have dedicated hours of time into watching has been my slow but steady watch through of The Following. It is a very, very dumb and over the top series that has never even considered the possibility of realism. I can't make myself stop watching it though.

Australia's social media ban under 16 gives me mixed feelings, I like the freedom of expression that inherently comes with social media but I think back to when I was under 16 and most of the time social media was a totally negative influence on my life, not positive.
