It occurs to me that another factor in feeling really bad about all this is SAD.

I want to get something off my chest cause I feel bad about it, especially while doing setup for the charity event I'm participating for Gamers Outreach.

I've got burn out. Not stream burnout cause I do still love to stream. Just.. general life burn out.

Part of it is just my general health

I will also be looking at ways I can sort out my IRL self so that things do improve. I don't think it will involve less streaming, but it may involve me doing more things that I want to do

I can get better, and I will get better, somehow.

I guess I'll leave it with this. #SS2025 is going to be very lowkey this year from me. And while I will still do all I can to raise funds, I do hope that both Gamers Outreach and others will understand that it's not going to match my usual level of preparedness.

I wouldn't be here without the love and support. Of that I am certain.

This isn't doomposting, regardless of how it looks. I say this because I'm hopeful for the future. maybe in 2026 I can push to get Twitch Partner or hit certain streamer milestones. Maybe my job situation will be better.

And regardless of my situation, I also know I've met so many awesome people..

My therapist is trying to keep me focused on going forward, that I can find my rest once I'm out of the bad situation that 2025 has put me in both mentally and physically, but its still rough, and I still struggle to see light at the end of the tunnel. I worry its a spiral. a vortex I can't escape.

And yes, I can attribute my road to better mental health as starting while working at said company, but I hit rock bottom there too.

Its so demoralizing for me that the job market basically refused me. The job market in my province is bad, no question. But that's cold comfort given I need to work.

A general frustration in my life is the amount of times I've told myself that I cannot do something, and trying to come to acceptance of that fact, regardless if its my fault or not. Spending over a year unemployed and only finding a job at a job I left cause it stressed me out is.. not ideal.

I'm also disappointed in myself that I've just not had the energy to setup this upcoming charity event properly. I realized looking at it today that while I can do some stuff, I'm nowhere near as prepared as I was last year, and its too late to try and match that. I know that for the future, but...

That is partly my fault tho. When I first got the job, I figured I could handle working in office. I didn't think it would be as bad as it was. But after 3 ish weeks of that, I had to fight to be able to work from home. Which I have now, thank god.

But the leg not healing is def taking a toll

I've made no secret of it, my leg is still bad. In fact, I feel confident in saying that getting a new job (even if its an office job) and making the travel each day has been hard on my leg, given its location on my right ankle.

Going into work 5 days a week pushed me back on the road to recovery.
