In the interests of following through on yapping more about the fe girls - have my old Tumblr musings on why carnivorous plants are such a good choice of interest for Bernadetta
Been thinking lately about how Bernadetta's love of carnivorous plants is basically a metaphor. I used to own venus fly traps and the problem with those suckers is that they CANNOT be cared for normally or they wil DIE. They need distilled water because their roots can't properly absorb minerals from regular water. They also can't be in nice ceramic pots because clay is too delicious and nutritious for them. They also like to hibernate during the winter and basically just play dead. Carnivorous plants adapted to survive in an environment that was so hostile to them that they can no longer be cared for normally. Ya know... like Bernadetta.

I just started them this year too! I started with Awakening, which feels cliche to suggest but really was a good starting point. It has a straightforward but engaging story, and all the characters I found were really well done. Fates has also been a good time but if you're like me then once you
