I just saw the Guardian GrabMart discount fiasco. Tbh, this could be either human error or technical error. Either way, one of them (Grab or Guardian) would need to bear the losses after further investigation.

these are not grifts, they are luxury goods. luxury goods usually sound silly, and usually have much cheaper, similar replacements, but that doesn’t mean luxury goods are a scam.

The latest grifts seem to be selling old solutions to forever problems on a subscription basis. You too can buy a starter kit for making to-do lists (AKA an analogue management system) for $99, & sign up for more cards each month The clicky pen is a bargain at $125. They "reinvented" to-do lists. 🙄
