I've been asked about this paper (www.nature.com/articles/s41...) enough times that I finally had to read it.

The basic claim is that mRNA vaccines had huge synergistic benefit with checkpoint blockade against lung cancer melanoma.

tl;dr it's glam-slop & everyone involved should be embarrassed
SARS-CoV-2 mRNA vaccines sensitize tumours to immune checkpoint blockade - Nature
mRNA vaccines targeting SARS-CoV-2 also sensitize tumours to immune checkpoint inhibitors.

What’s the meme—Never ask a man his salary, a woman her age, or Colin Wright his knowledge and role in the contemporary data fraud in his advisor’s lab that caused all his publications to get retracted.
Colin Wright is such an influential evolutionary biologist he doesn't even have a wiki page.
I thought it was a The Substance post until I saw the larger thread lol
The things Zohran has been attacked for now include:

1. Having said he was of African and Asian descent on a college application (he is of African and Asian descent).

2. Paying lower than average rent.

3. Referring to his father's cousin as "aunt".

4. Supporting universal human rights.
The crazier thing about the story is apparently she was his *father's* first cousin, not his own first cousin. This isn't even a "same generation but different age" thing, this is a "the exact generation and age your aunts are" thing.
as someone with a much older cousin he also grew up calling an aunt, i am now definitively on Team Zohran

Seems they are not infected, contrary to initial statements.
I think there are different versions of it, one was going around that did have a tiger and giraffe (but the other was not an elephant IIRC).
He's been taking this test since his last term, about five years. Five years of his doctors regularly administering a test for dementia! And we know that contemporaneously his White House doctor Ronny was lying about his health conditions.
Stephen Miller’s response is I think an open secret, but it is pressingly dire to learn who else is abusing this.
This has been going on since his last term, at least five years ago or so. They’re tracking his decline and either lying to him about the scores or he’s lying to others about the scores.

Also immediate follow-up object of study: how are his putative subordinates reacting to this? Because they know!
Trump says he aced it, which absolutely is a lie, because he’s continuously lied and had his doctors continuously publicly lie about various health problems. It’s bewildering there are no follow-up questions, no alarm bells ringing in their heads.
The entirety of the Republican political machine is a coherent parade of bad things—unforgivable, impeachable, violent things—and the incessant messaging that every piece of it except for “the one thing” is a shiny fake-out is just gaslighting.
This is the “it’s a distraction!” mantra, which at this point I think is a psyop
GOV. WHITMER: “.. no one is worried about building a ballroom in Washington, D.C. What they want is to make sure that they can feed their kids next week.” Most Americans are “never going to step foot in a ballroom over the course of their lifetime.”

"This is a lot better than you remember it" is on its own a funny sentence about a movie called Déjà Vu.
CNN confirms that multiple sources suggest Graham Platner knew his tattoo was a Nazi symbol years prior to launching his campaign — and is now blatantly lying about it.

So weird that they won’t say the same about a Muslim man with no Nazi tattoos or Blackwater job experience who wants free buses.
"Not one senator said Platner’s tattoo or other controversies were disqualifying, and several acknowledged he’s bringing excitement to a party that has been struggling in the political wilderness since President Donald Trump took back power in January."

da fuc is wrong with these people
Senate Democrats tread lightly on Maine primary as new poll shows Graham Platner leading Janet Mills
Despite recent controversies, Platner has a huge lead in a recent poll and is drawing big crowds, while the two-term governor Mills is counting on her experience and achievements.

The thing about the "Are we the baddies?" meme is the Nazi asked that question because their uniforms had "little skulls" on them, not because they had "little Nazi skulls" on them. I think that's a little more toward our north star, there.
Weird how there's this correspondence between certain opinions and having a hard time expressing them, need to look into that
There is a very strong implication in her mother's writing that Brianna would have died anyway (likely killing herself) if she hadn't been murdered. What a wretched woman.
I don't say this to be shocking, but adding "and then she was stabbed by two bigots" to Esther Ghey's incurious babbling about Brianna's phone and mental health really reveals how fucking irrelevant it all is and how the festering transphobia of British society is being entirely erased.
No I need you to realise how insidious this is.

The FRONT PAGE of this "charity" wix site could easily fool you into thinking Brianna killed herself.

Clicking "Read More" Reveals her cause of death, but completely ignores transphobia and instead spends 4/5 paragraphs discussing Brianna's phone!

I think this is a reasonable explanation, it doesn’t seem Nazi-related at all.
i think it's likely the "Trail Fund Crew", a group related to the Appalachian Mountains Club that works on trails across the country. It was founded in 1919, and tends to use iconography close to that logo: www.amctca.com

It’s possible the second tattoo is related to a much more anodyne (and non-Nazi) topic.

Since at least the Bush years.
If you cannot clearly situate yourself in opposition to ethnic cleansing then you, too, are a monster among people.
This is an endorsement of the Conservative MP’s statements, a suggestion that there is a perpetual earning that immigrants can eventually fail to upkeep, justifying their removal. The Labour Party must absolutely be voted out everywhere, cut away like any rot.
“We welcome those who come to this country, legally, and give more than they take. We believe the right to stay here must not be automatic, but that those who play their part should be able to earn that right."
