Damn it. Yeah, that’s fair.

But this is what trips me up: I want silly “They got the mustard out!” numbers (à la Buffy the Musical) but paying to make that happen inevitably pays artists and the general populace which *IS* useful.

Same problem with building anything.

- Hire a RIDICULOUS number of songwriters & choreographers to compose song-and-dance routines about everyday shit (boredom/ adulting/ annoyance/ giggles/ whatever) and anything else that moves them

grateful portland has risen to the challenge so far in peacefully protesting the ICE facility and that nationally we're all cheering on the frogs but I think it's important to make sure everyone is aware that the ICE goons aren't exactly being peaceful in return

Plus, I’ve only gotten patterns on Etsy, and I’m finding they don’t always make clear what all the “notions” are, so I think I have everything and find “oh! I really needed a row counter!”

Or: “I HATE DPNs… ok, let’s learn Magic Loop… oh! I need to get different needles for that.” 😠

NEW: There’s a disaster unfolding in Alaska right now. And no major network is covering it.

The remnants of Typhoon Halong battered western Alaska overnight. Homes, with people in them, have literally been swept into the Bering Strait.

At least 20 are missing. No comment from any federal agency.
