I second this cuz my own lore is very dystopian and so many people over the years belittled and ridiculed it to the point I can barely get myself to world build. It’s depressing. Don’t let people ruin your shit for you, set boundaries cuz a world I had since I was 13 now barely has any lore
I spent a year scrambling to make new ocs and stories to fill the void of a world I spent 16-17 years writing and developing - none of it worked. Protect the things you care about before people fuck them up for you.

this is why I think it's SO important to not exclude grown ass adults from "ship war" and "anti" talk. It's easy to dismiss it as all dumb kids but 1) plenty of dumb people are openly 20+ and 2) it's not just adults making bad decisions - many of them are actively recruiting
YUP. I'll never forget how common posts deliberately targeting teens to reform them with things like "This thing you like is inherently evil & bad" which was always a trojan horse for anti-inclusive/trans/queer rhetoric. This is why people need to take OL recruitment with disinformation seriously.🧵

there is plenty of sexual content on steam. the problem isn't that valve is denying sexual content (though, as a near-monopoly, that would also be a problem) it's that valve is denying specifically sexual content that is non-pornographic, most notably in the horror genre.
