"If we had a contingency fund."

You mean like this contingency fund the Trump Administration just deleted off their website? The one they are legally required to use to keep SNAP funded?

me: a guy here was arrested for assaulting a woman while he was cosplaying as a nazi officer

Dad: what is cosplay

me: *explains*

Dad: sounds like a nazi who stopped "cosplaying" as a normal person

This man's ability to randomly say insightful thing while also putting cosplay in quotes is a trip
The new version will inform you of any 'foreign' airtags in your home, and give you the option to disable them, or to claim them for your own use.

So, long story short, if someone steals your item with an Airtag, they also get to steal your Airtag from your network.
If memory serves, Airtags aren't that useful for tracking stolen items, due to an update from the phone ap years ago.
Appearantly, there were cases of stalkers dropping Airtags into women's purses to track them to their home. So apple adjusted the software... (1/?)

Sorry folks for reposting this but someone’s fursuit head ended up at Goodwill. It might have been a fursuit head stolen at TFS?

Can we get some reskeets so hopefully someone recognizes it?

Thank you, @gog.com for including game length in your storefront/installer program. It's a little thing, but does help me figure out what games I should tackle next.
That's why we need to check in on each other, REALLY check in, not just exchange pleasantries:

Follow up the "Are you feeling OK?" question with "Was that a lie?" to get past the reflexive "I'm fine" response.

Sometimes we NEED someone to reach past the pleasantries.

The federal criminal justice system is being systematically dismantled and destroyed piece by piece and turned into a mob boss’s network of corrupt consiglieres and thugs, where good people simply doing their jobs are rooted out and eradicated.

(If you REALLY want to start a religious war in Chicago, stand on any crowded street corner snd shout "[Insert Pizza/Italian Beef place here] has the best pizza/beef in town!" Doesn't matter what place you name, you'll get Rodney King levels of rioting.

Gee, what gave it away? The fact that the Subs/Sox Schism is even greater than the Schism between Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox?
Oh yeah, they both know this gift is a subtle jab.
Pope Leo is a South Sider, he's a Sox fan.

Hopefully, the two of them had a good laugh over the teasing while breaking bread...
...by which I mean sharing a nice Deep Dish Pizza.

Well that would certainly explain why EVERYBODY WHO'S NOT A MAGA FANBOY is struggling to find joy in anything these days.

How Chronic Disappointment Rewires the Brain
Chronic disappointment can train the brain to expect pain instead of reward. Restoring hope means reawakening dopamine through small actions, enriched environments, and new desire.

The desperate need to accumulate more and more at the cost of everyone else’s wellbeing should be classified as a mental disorder, and I will absolutely die on this hill.
Guillermo del Toro on wealth: "a wealthy man is a man who has enough, not a man that needs more. If you have enough to invite someone for a beer? You're rich. If you have a yacht, planes, islands, and you still need more? You're not rich."
