Fifty, female and furious - it just can’t be that hard to be a decent human but somehow the worst people seem to be the most amplified (looking at Trump/Farage etc)

Donald Trump is not going to sue the BBC for $1 billion

The real story today is both Reform/Farage and the Conservatives/Badenoch talking today about radically changing the BBC

This is the real agenda

The BBC's senior leadership resigning en masse over one dodgy edit in one programme, simply because the right wing press demands it, tells you everything you need to know about where the power really lies in that relationship

It’s not at all clear to me how the BBC can do any kind of serious journalism if its top two bosses can be forced to quit over such an obviously confected scandal. There is no substantive error here. How can the BBC report on Trump, or Farage, or anyone else, in these circumstances?

I've signed this, have you?
Even if you never intend on having one, others may desperately want or need them, but the UKHSA has deemed them unworthy, undeserving, not sufficiently vulnerable enough to qualify.
Their decisions are political.
Lives shouldn't be pawns of the politicians.

Nigel Farage says this summer’s Raise the Colours movement was led by ‘ordinary people’ expressing their patriotism. Our reporters in five cities had a look and that’s not what we found.

The fun thing about having a small team working with you is you can say "hey you're spending this week digging for stolen mobile phones in London flowerbeds, I promise you it's a thing". www.londoncentric.media/p/london-pho...
London's thieves are burying phones in flowerbeds
The police don't take much interest in returning the stolen devices when they're dug up — so London Centric decided to do it.

Good to see @dailymail.co.uk @thetimes.com and @telegraphnews.bsky.social all delete their articles - sad the lies went up in the first place
Totally untrue garbage from @thetimes.com & @dailymail.co.uk today - smear dressed up as journalism. Some facts:
- There is no “£900 desk”
- my constituency office has Ikea desks/chairs
- we significantly underspent the new MPs allowance to set up an office
www.thetimes.com/uk/politics/...
Treasury minister leading budget plans spent £900 on desk
Torsten Bell, who is working with Rachel Reeves to fill a £30 billion hole in finances, also used his parliamentary expenses to claim £600 for three chairs

Is Sarah Pochin equally mad that 100% of the directors of Reform UK Ltd are privately educated, extremely wealthy ultra right wing millionaires who seem to spend a lot of time visiting foreign countries despite taking MPs' salaries? Not very representative of the British public is it?
