I get why you have former coaches and players doing stuff like studio shows and color commentary on broadcasts. But their analysis of things like playoff rankings is no more informed than the average person on the street.

I’m driving through rural Texas, prime insane right wing billboard territory and I just saw a billboard that said “no healthcare for the peasants but a ballroom for the king”

pretty big sentiment shift for the area

I once worked at a school who had the nerve to expect teachers to give 50% for assignments if the student never did the work.
Let. Them. Fail.

If students can’t do the bare minimum, they cannot pass the class.

I’ve struggled with this my entire career. I teach collegiate and advanced courses; I know it’s my job to make them do hard things. If they pass my class and can’t do hard things, I failed.

And I don’t fail.
An issue we're seeing at all levels of university is that many students are simply refusing to do *anything*. They aren't reading the syllabus, aren't following assignment guidelines, aren't engaging with material, ignoring deadlines. And this might seem like old news, but it truly has ramped up.

The more contact I have with the general public the more I’m convinced everything important in life was taught in kindergarten and some of us got it. A lot didn’t, and you can tell as an adult.

Once again with Popular Opinion: Shared Drive folders should NEVER count as used space in your drive.
Love love love how everything is made to rely on cloud services with no possible way to run them offline so they just turn into e-waste even though they still work fine

And one without subscription requirements lol
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good and not TOO expensive color inkjet printer?

I'd like to get one that has the color tanks instead of the cartridges

And that will also connect wirelessly so I can print from an iPhone as well as my iMac

Thanks for any suggestions!
