A rough sketch for an event CG for my RPG project. Devon is a blond elven guy with chin-length hair, heavy eye-liner and a long tan coat while Haze is a slightly taller guy with long, wavy white hair on a ponytail, small wings for ears and a blue military uniform. After a long day of hunting monsters and whatnot, Devon has walked Haze home under the starry night skies. The streetlamps cast light from a small distance. I don't want to spoil too much of the story, but Haze ends up grabbing Devon by the face and giving him a kiss in the cover of his front door. Devon's face flushes pink and he stares wide-eyed at Haze. This. This is almost in public, gosh, what are you doing? What if someone sees! Oh well, Haze doesn't really care and I don't think Devon will have the brain capacity to say anything anytime soon either. A screenshot mock-up for my visual novel. Cole is an elven man with fair skin, short black hair and reddish brown eyes. He wears a black suit and bowtie as he is a cleric serving the lord of the underworld. He usually wears a white mask with black eyes and small horns but in this scene he holds it in his hands, having just removed it from his face. He stands in a dimly lit room with peeling green wallpapers and glares straight at the viewer. The camera is tilted, mirroring his state of mind. His eyes seem to glow red as the room's light dwells in them. He says: "He wanted to fight with magic? Fine. But guess he didn't consider that while he needed soul shredders to truly kill his victims, I shredded mine After I killed them." He's fishing and a fishing rod is propped up next to him. A curious stranger approaches from the path behind him. Eric is a blond man with fluffy animal ears, Vardan is indeed an elf with brown skin, purple hair and a beard, and Geoff is an elderly black man with floppy spaniel ears.

I was supposed to write today, but I went to brush my parents' cats (three are fairly old so tend to not groom themselves so much) and found this old music book from the 50s-60s.

Spent like an hour or two reading through the lessons and learned more about music than I ever did in school. 😂

The waters are white while the sky is a faded, pastelline blue with the lines of sheet music running across, getting thinner towards the horizon. A page from the aforementioned book. It teaches about the different kinds of notes, specifically the difference between the eight note and sixteenth note. A drawing of a girl in a yellow dress holds a sheet of lined paper and a quill pen while the final, pyramid-shaped chart of the different lengths of notes is decorated to look like a sapling with flowers. No, I had no idea this was how notes worked, lol. That the different colours and lines meant different lengths of notes. Thanks, school.

Page 39 of my webcomic, Hex & Seal. Tebra thinks about Hex's question. Oh, well. Not really? But here gifts are usually for special occasions. Birthdays, holidays and such. And dates, I guess. Hex lets out an awkward laugh on the mention of dates, then quickly apologises. I'm just not great at reading non-Whisperers. He says, averting his gaze and giving Tebra a crooked, tight-lipped smile. Tebra is quick to pick up on Hex's worried tone. Oh, don't worry! She begins, People love gifts here too! But will likely show appreciation in other ways. Tebra smiles mischievously and steps closer, placing a hand on Hex's shoulder. And if you ever need pretty fabrics for a gift... Hex laughs, I'll keep you in mind! The scene shifts to a late summer night. They live high enough north that on the days around Midsummer the sun doesn't fully set and the skies remain a lovely mix of pastel peachy tones while the roads shaded by the surrounding trees are bathed in twilight. Hex walks Luck the hunting dog along a dirt road surrounded by trees.
