Hi! I’m Nik, and I draw my OCs a lot and ramble about things!

Listed below is information about commissions and how to support me.

Page 1 of commission directions. 1) Select the character type: Full Body ($35), Half Body ($55), Bust ($75) 2) Select the coloring style: line art (black and white; $25), flats (color, no shading; the most popular option; $35), Hard Shading (color with sharp shading; $45), Soft Shading (color, shading done with a more painterly style; the most time consuming option; $65). 3) Add the character style with the color style, and you have the estimated price. Additional characters are 50% of the base price; up to 3 characters. Backgrounds are either no background or a solid color/gradient. More complex backgrounds will need to be discussed, and will start at a base price of $50 to start. CHIBI STYLE commissions follow a similar pattern as the regular commission, but is only allowed in a full body. Additional chibis are $10 each. Rules: - no more than 3 characters at a time, unless previously discussed. - Please provide references, visual or written. Anything to help me best capture your character. - Ask about availability first before talking about the commission you’d like! I don’t really have a waitlist, but my ability to work is based on my real life job!! - once contact is made, I will either confirm or decline your commission. I will then discuss payment, and have you complete the COMMISSION AGREEMENT (contract), which will be emailed to you. This, as well as payment, will need to be completed before work begins. I WILL DRAW: most anything, especially OCs and player icons! I WON’T DRAW: realism, animal portraits, detailed mecha, NSFW content, political works. I WILL NOT: promote hate speech, homophobia, or anything remotely close. I will block you if you request an item of this nature. Payment: is through PayPal. You will pay everything up front, or 50% at the start 50% at the end. NO BITCOIN. Once all payment is received, you will receive a HD version of your commission. The last two segments discuss guarantees and other additional information. I aim to work with you every step of the way, so I will not proceed with anything without your approval. I DO NOT WORK WITH ANY AI. SHORTHAND VERSION THE ARTIST - The Artist (Nicole Sbalcio) retains all rights to the work produced unless otherwise negotiated. - The Artist reserves the right to decline or refuse service to a client for any reason. - The Artist may give advice, suggestions, or ideas so that the art/character(s) clearly conveys the client’s expectations and vision. - The Artist reserves the right to cancel a commission after two weeks of no communication between The Client. THE CLIENT - The Client (you) retains all rights to the character(s) depicted. It is the client’s responsibility to assure they have permission in who/what is being portrayed. - Regarding approved fanart, characters depicted are retained by the original owners, neither the artist nor the client. - The Client must treat the Artist fairly and respectfully. Any form of bigotry, rudeness, or indecency will terminate services with the Artist. - Besides the use of cropping, The Client may not modify the work in any way. Watermarks may NOT be cropped out or removed. - Commissions are for PERSONAL USE ONLY, and may use the work for non-profit purposes (I.e., icons, profiles, and personal prints). The Client may not resell the commission for profit, unless a commercial use form has been signed and agreed upon. - The Client may not use their work as an NFT or use it in an AI engine. - The Client and The Artist may post the work, with proper credit. Cancellations & Refunds - You are allowed to contact me about a refund during the art process, but not after the product is completed. - If I am unable to complete your commission, then you are entitled to a full refund. In this case, I will send the amount back to you. - You are not allowed to file for a chargeback under any circumstance.Failure to comply will have you blacklisted. Revisions - You are allowed up to 2 small revisions after completion (e.g., simple color change, add a pattern, etc) with no fee. Afterward, you will be charged $20 per request

Mid-morning thoughts - the nice thing about something like Fluffuary is that it forces me to draw something every day.

I took this challenge as a way to experiment with filters and pens for inking, and I will probably start coloring styles soon too.

Okay, but Ritska and Imperos are like… side characters in #someonetowatchoverme, but I love them and they do appear. (They both serve in Forseth’s unit; he’s their boss). Ritska is actually taller than Imperos, so you kinda have to pretend Ritska is sitting lol

Firstly, drawing Sisco without his spiked hair is DEEPLY amusing to me. Secondly, I had this idea planned for the flirting theme, so I’m glad I get to actually use it. The idea is that Sisco and Haseo met in the medical wing.

I don’t remember if I answered this one, but yes! Forseth and Haseo are the youngest in their family.

So Forseth actually brings this up a lot when he talks about rumors. The most common one is that he eats people (because he’s a demon).

Since the comic sketches aren’t loading at the moment, here’s a snippet from the script.

CW: Talk of blood, raw meat.
Forseth: (a small smile appears on his face) People are shitty. (He pushes hair out of her face) They believe the stupidest shit. Crissa: Like how you eat people? Forseth: … yes. Crissa: Is that true, by the way? Forseth: (he snorts) No. Sisco and I had returned from a mission, and I happened to be covered in blood. (She blinks) Things got… bad in that mission. None of the blood was mine, even though I was hurt... Okay, maybe some of the blood was mine. But the point is that people were staring, and so… I grabbed a piece of meat and bit into it. (He snorts) Crissa: (she smiles and tries to stifle a laugh) Why?? Forseth: Because people were staring and making stupid comments, so I thought I’d lay into it a bit… and that’s how people started that rumor. (He makes an “ew” face) Contrary to popular belief, I do not actually eat meat from people. Some demons do, but not my family. Eugh. I’m just as disappointed that the rumor still comes up from time to time. Crissa: (she laughs) That’s unfortunately hilarious. Forseth: The worst consequence though? I had food poisoning for a week after eating that raw meat.

#bioniclethemanga was started back in like… 2004. It was restarted closer to 2010, with some redos in 2014 and then 2023.

#someonetowatchoverme was originally started in… 2007? 2008? And was put on hiatus around 2010 (online) because I had started college and I wanted to rewrite it.

Forseth prefers coffee to tea, and Haseo is the opposite. But they will drink either if it boiled down to it. (Buh-dum, tisssss)

Crissa is a coffee drinker over tea. Vycer is tea, but will drink coffee if he has to. Elgret is tea. Decibal is tea, Vlatka is tea. Keits is tea, Brek is… anything.
