I found out one of the checkers at my grocery store is an aspiring writer, so I invited her to join our local writers group! And now we talk about our writing every time I go through her line. It's been fun to encourage her to do something she really enjoys and wants to do more of.

Yeah, I've learned the hard way it's not a good idea for me to offer negative commentary on the players and coaches. But umps/refs? Always fair game! 😆

One thing you can do - go to the club bio, here: www.mlb.com/player/eduar... Go to the bottom of the page and check out the transactions. He's got over 70 since 2014, incl 2 designation for assignment. !!! Compare to other guys. Munoz had 30+/- in about the same time. I'd be discouraged, I think!

Ok, another benefit of synching the radio to mlb tv is the commercial crossovers - tv has a commercial for a murder mystery and the sound track is for a plumber. 😆

I cycled through several; went back to try to find info but didn't really see anything definitive. Part of my sense was that his career has been in bits and pieces - so he doesn't have the features written about him that others who have been more visible get. So... sorry. If I see refs, I'll post.

If you feel the need to do penance, I recommend reading into his background. I can't imagine having the persistence and unwillingness to give up that it took for him to be here, now. Makes the mom in me just want to give him a big hug and tell him, well done! So proud.
