It’s hard to convey just how much Chicagoans are mobilizing against ICE. Don’t want to downplay the harm, or make it seem like a fair fight. But in neighborhoods across this city, ICE is getting chased by people blowing whistles and shouting. People are running TOWARD ICE to protect their neighbors.

The line has moved so far under this court for what are reasonable and legal limitations on the power of the President and how the President can be compelled to follow the law. Anyone who understands this understands the “no kings” movement.

Between Friday 10/17 and Saturday 10/18—just this weekend's demonstrations—Illinois State Police and Broadview PD arrested 30 people outside the ICE facility.

Saw multiple people with this sign at No Kings in Chicago today — and only one “we love JB Pritzker” style sign. Purely anecdotal data, but that’s a very different spread than the last couple of anti-ICE/National Guard marches downtown I went to. I just think that’s interesting.
