Trump: "These people were brought to our country to vote, & they vote illegally. The Republicans should say, we should take over the voting in at least 15 places. The Republicans ought to nationalize the voting. We have states that I won that show I didn't win. You're gonna see something in Georgia"

Following up on "what's Trump's strategy with these ICE invasions?" the below is more evidence that there isn't one. This is not why they went into Minnesota; it's not even related.

It's a last-minute attempt to save face. They know this is going horribly for them.

Pam Bondi just sent a letter to Minnesota officials saying ICE will leave if the state turns over its voter database to Trump.

Guess what? This has never been about safety or immigration. It’s a pretext for Trump to take over elections in swing states.

Let that sink in, one of America’s closest allies is publicly protesting out of fear we might invade their territory

So much for the claim that “the world respects the U.S. under Trump.”

The reality? It’s the opposite.

Notice how no one excuses ICE killing people in Minnesota as “a few bad apples”?

That’s because they think the rights violations, repression, and murder is good. They don’t see it as a few rogue officers whose bad actions reflect poorly on the whole, they see this as ICE acting as it’s supposed to.
