As a Soldier, I had ethics and values training from basic onward, plus annual refreshers—same as when I served as a DoD civilian. We were taught to follow lawful orders. Trump’s rhetoric about “sedition” is dangerous autocratic theater. #Propaganda #Autocracy #Tryanny @democrats.senate.gov

I agree on one person one vote, but MAGA and Republicans wouldn't because they would have to actually win on issues and policies. They can't.

Sadly, it is being reported that two Virginia National Guard soldiers were shot and killed today in DC. This is a tragedy, but we should note that they were on a mission that Trump conjured up to project what he thinks is strength by creating fear. These soldiers didn't need to be there.

Trump also said if he were elected he would end the war in 24 hours. Putin shows no sign of wanting to end the war. He’s laughing at Trump and the EU tying themselves in knots for to create a deal that Putin likely has no intent to sign on to. It’s a distraction as he continues to murder civilians.

There is no reason to believe that if Putin doesn't get all of his demands that he will agree to a peace plan. Putin's survival is dependent on selling his illegal invasion as a victory for Russia. Anything not seen as a victory will likely the be the end for him and he knows it. #Russia #Ukraine
