I don’t understand how the courts are allowing this? This is such a violation of individual rights on so many levels. Even if the argument that illegal immigration is a “national emergency“ made sense (it doesn’t) it would not justify this.

This is literally what a commander is supposed to do when they receive an illegal order. And the problem for the current commander is exactly what admiral Holsey did. They both can’t be right. One of them is wrong. And guess what? It’s not Adm Holsey. This has implications for everyone else.

The moment a Democrat takes over the Oval Office I’m sure these “dedicated” Republican members of Congress will miraculously find their Constitutional feet and remember these key Art 1 powers. 🙄

I don’t necessarily disagree. But Ford lived in his time and we live in ours. He faced the daunting prospect of trying to heal the nation and continue to deter the USSR with a deeply divided and demoralized public. We have no excuses for having failed to prevent what is happening in our own time.

The deeper issue is an unhappiness with reality. Many feel trapped. This is the core reason they voted for someone obviously at war with facts and reality.

The hypocrisy and the obvious lack of responsibility to his office and interests of his district is painfully obvious. A gutless wonder.

DJT is very likely using the pardon power for payoffs and/or consideration. He is easily the most corrupt (brazenly and unapologetically so) president in our history. It would not surprise me if DJT is revealed to be the most corrupt western leader since WWII.

It’s painful watching these clown amateur's step on every minefield Russia/Russian culture has to offer. There are actual country/regional diplomatic experts with deep knowledge that could have produced a better outcome. But these arrogant folks are quite determined to humiliate themselves.

Welp… everyone involved with that operation is in big trouble. Sooner or later they will have to answer questions under oath. Many of them will face charges.
