Pulling this thread a little. Ed's watching Izzy dance & laugh with the crew & feels something comforting & warm in his chest. That's his Izzy, all relaxed & smiling. By the end of the night he's falling into Ed's lap, loose limbed & sleepy, with a smile just for him.
I'm imagining this as a "Save the Last Dance For Me" situation. Eventually. Not during Calypso's Birthday but eventually Ed & Izzy get to a place where Izzy's flirting & dancing with everyone else & Ed's just smiling fondly, knowing who he's going home with at the end of the night.
