Howdy first post!

Happy to be here among friends new and old. I am looking forward to rekindling some connections and making fresh ones.

Into music, dogs, running (esp trails), sourdough, public lands, horror movies, big books, and vegetarian food.

Located in the dry side inland PNW.
This happened to my neighborhood when I was living in eastern Oregon. It was so alarming that I got my kids out of the house and called emergency services in case there was a gas leak or something. A few of my neighbors did too. Turns out that it was something on a passing train that just stunk.
That sounds great! Hopefully weather works out for you.
That's a scary anxiety dream! Btw congratulations on training for a 100! Which one are you doing?
Really happy for all of you who live in places where they've played before and are playing again
Polygondwanaland (Taylor's Version) 🦎
Taylor Swift should secretly cover whatever her favorite album is in full, slap a "Taylor's Version" on it as a subtitle, and release it on Halloween, Phish-style
What an awful thing to witness. I'm so sorry for you having to see it and to the climber's friends and family for their loss. Just devastating.

there’s a dog in my car
Oh my god, that's awful. Was there any indication of what went wrong?
It would be one thing if we were talking about Neal Peart, but we're talking about Billy.
At around 22 or 23 seconds he does a snare hit on 4 and the upbeat along with a bell on the upbeat. He follows this with a little fill around the toms and then hits 4 and the upbeat again on the next measure. Hard to imagine that happening exactly the same way twice.
I'm not going to analyze the pitch, but Billy sure seems to be playing the exact same thing.
Awesome! I'm looking forward to it. Incidentally, she grew up about 20 minutes away from me so it will be fun to chat about that as well.
So good! I met Sean Thompson a few years ago when he played a house show in my town, and he has been one of my favorite guitarists ever since.
The nice thing about the #rollerderby season concluding at the same time as the furlough is all the free time I will have to try and make my wife's gear smell better
Is that outside the Gaylord Rockies resort?
The Beaverton dealer had an airbag in stock, so they got it over to the downtown Portland location and got it taken care of. But it was a crap show.
Repair shops are really hitting it out of the park this week

Tasty live snippet from Prairiewolf at Cervantes. Folks were fleeing the Broncos game in the neighborhood bars to check out the Cool Rocky Mountain Kosmiche sounds filtering thru the air in Five Points last nite.
