Face recognition is too dangerous for police use and undermines individual privacy. That's why Axon's new test integrating this tech into body-worn cameras is such an alarming development. www.eff.org/deeplinks/2...

Affordability concerns are real because:
- Tariffs raise import costs
- Deportations make it harder to harvest crops
- Attacking Obamacare hikes premiums
- Budget deficits raise mortgage payments
- Undermining the Fed risks inflation.

It's not a hoax; it's a policy choice.

Mamdani: Oftentimes when we win elections, we tell people to go home and just trust us. But the message really has to be that we want you to come along with us… That’s something we’ve been looking to share with New Yorkers: We want to not only win with New Yorkers, but also govern with New Yorkers.

According to a new study, members of Congressional leadership perform 47% better in stock market trades than their rank-and-file peers, thanks to access to nonpublic information.

Today would be a great day to ban ALL elected officials from trading stock, don't you think?

The level of privilege in Johnson’s statement is infuriating. No one has time to wait let alone relax. Their salaries should be reduced to the federal minimum hourly wage until things improve for the benefit of the people 😡🤦🏽‍♀️🤯
Speaker Johnson thinks Americans worried about affordability need to just “relax”

I used to think Republicans fell in line because they feared Trump would attack them in a primary election. Now, I realize it's much worse. They are physically afraid of Trump's supporters and the risk of violence.

It's great that reporting on the double tap has spotlighted the abject criminality of this Administration.

But don't forget: Venezuela is not waging war on America or Americans, and the men killed were not combatants.

The first strike was every bit as illegal as the second.

The New Deal wasn’t built on a promise that there would be “no ceiling” for the richest Americans.

Quite the opposite, in fact. FDR knew its politics could only work if he singled out the rich as villains and knew that its policies could only work if the rich paid their fair share in taxes.

Around 70% of the U.S. economy depends on consumer spending. As wealth concentrates in the richest 10%, the rest of America can’t afford to buy enough to keep the economy running. This is a huge problem — and even America’s most powerful CEOs are starting to sound the alarm.
