I've worked with immigrants a lot and I find they're the most "normal Americans" you'll ever meet. They usually bring food to potlach that is different, but in terms of "American values" and work ethic, they get along just fine.
It makes sense immigrants fit in so well, they *chose* America!

The trump plan for Gaza is to turn it into a colony for an American led coalition, and the Israeli take is that it's too close to Palestinian self governance.
There is no negotiating a way out of this.

Another problem with DND is that everyone has so much HP that individual events don't matter. Even a huge attack just brings you one turn closer to a distant end zone. It becomes a game of statistics like baseball. And it's just as slow.

Interesting how as the racial demographics of who died of ODs shifted to white people it went from "Darwin awards" and "Just say no" to "We need to murder every single person even approaching the united states that we suspect of having drugs".

I'm liking these so far. They seem to think that Luke and Han were big celebrities, and I just don't see it in the movies.

Starting at the beginning of Avatar. Why would Sokka call bending "magic"? Do they even have non-bending magic in this universe?
And why would he think bending is weird, it's just another thing some people can do, like writing cursive.
