I just want a single great Habs team in my lifetime and I’m running out of time

We criticised their passing this week so they decided to practice it during the game tonight.

Outworked. Think we need a few bigger guys. Heavy teams and hardworking teams can slow down all skill perimeter flashy teams.

You can see why bruins stay in games. Constant effort and another edition with grit. Get in lanes. Work.

I am such an easily triggered guy. Every time that account lazily posts the score and then says ‘Thoughts?’ I get embarrassingly outraged

Habs are frustrating as fuck

Just when we finally rid ourselves of Mikey Pezzetta, they add Joey Veleno.

Choose your poison in Habs net: sieve or guy who goes 5-0-0 in back to back seasons then loses a game and confidence completely destroyed

I’m one of the biggest bruins haters x habs fans on the planet and I still don’t think this rivalry is real right now. Want the win for the win but bruins part of it doesn’t factor.

LLMs are not AI. They’re just master class matchmakers. Until companies move on for this they will only produce efficiency (with errors) and assist humans with processing. The best tool anywhere that truly learns and adjusts course is the human brain.

Just saw Larry Brooks died yesterday. Curmudgeon whose arguments with Tortorella were legendary. Great articles in NY Post. Fun follow on Twitter. No bullshit guy who just seemed authentic even if sometimes unlikable. I respected him for all of the above and am very sorry to see he is gone.

The past tense of French verb for run-on sentence is ‘arponbasu’

Do not make any panic moves. Stay the course … the playoffs can wait for another year if it comes to that.

From this minister's op-ed: "People wanting to experience God are more likely to meet the Divine trying to shut down the Broadview, Illinois, ICE facility than we ever were in church...God does not live in our houses of worship, but...with those who are bearing the brunt of cruelty in this moment."
Oh wow @reuters.com got the photo here:

I might want to amend my forecast downwards from this rosy view
My view on the Habs as we approach 1/5th point of season: young, fast, exciting and fun. Also not nearly as good as their record and tougher opponents ahead. Will fall in standings but make playoffs, with spot dependent on how / when other teams wake up (TB, FL, TO, WASH) or fall (BOS, PITT).

Wee bit nervous about losing tonight and then Bruins game feeling like a big game. I really thought they were in the rear view mirror. Don’t believe for a second they’ll go anywhere but was hoping we’d start regularly spanking them.

My review of Habs game thus far: 0/10 horrible way to spend a Tuesday night do not recommend

If you’re feeling crappy right now take some solace in knowing that Marc Bergevin is really happy

I will not get mad at a guy named Joe Veleno. 99 lives out of a hundred he’s delivering my pizza I’m not going to hate on him for living his best life.

Pretty pathetic shift

I would never make fun of a guy in a much larger helmet with padding if it made any sense re preventing head trauma. So is there any evidence here? Seems dubious with limited amount of CSF and such a relatively limited amount of extra padding.

sometimes I feel like I don’t have any luck at all. why can’t I get shot by a six-year-old?
