Used book stores have always been really important to me, and I make an active effort to support them, because they support me. (If you're a book person, you know exactly what I mean.)
Communities need used-book shops.

As the trends in our world are increasingly standardized and entrenched by "predictive" technologies that stifle innovation and reduce human actions into economic categories...

We need a full range of possibilities for readers and communities to explore and share.

I'm no fan of Trump or MAGA (nor do I think Bizarro cartoonist Dan Piraro is). But there's something seriously wrong about taking his work and sloppily altering it to fit your politics/agenda. (Note date of publication: 2012. MAGA didn't even exist yet.)

We are becoming increasingly unsafe in our country. Why would anyone risk visiting the US right now? I feel for the travel and hospitality industries that have a lot to lose if we can't control gun violence.
